DORSET PALE BRANDING, BOTTLE DESIGNS,
GLASS ILLUSTRATION AND OTHER COLLATERAL.
Palmer’s Brewery in Bridport have been brewing non-stop since 1794. So it was a real honour to be trusted with the branding of their new Dorset Pale – it needed to be a modern brand in their stable, riding on the wave of craft beers.
Palmer’s brought us back in on this project a short time later to develop a 330ml bottle label. The brief was to take the original work, but push this more into a craft ale territory.
It’s a real departure for Palmer’s, who are a very traditional brand, but they saw an opportunity to aim this pale ale at the London lot that travel to Dorset in the summer months.
The result? A more pared-back, almost minimal design with an angular landscape and a moody colour palette – ideal for a sundowner on the beach.
